My first introduction to Tarot was when I was 15 years old. I was instantly drawn to the magic of the cards. They seemed mysterious, and at the same time, familiar. I have always been a visual person. Much of my spiritual connection comes through the art that I make. Tarot imagery speaks to me in a language that transcends words. It resonates deeply. The stories conveyed in the cards have the power to plumb the sub-conscious and bring it into conscious awareness.

I have a unique set of skills that I bring to the table as a reader. My primary teacher was a woman who has been reading Tarot for the last thirty years. I also have what I would call, a Tarot mentor, who is both a skilled reader and my meditation teacher. It is through him that I learned how to track energetic flow in the body, and open to psychic information, which is really nothing more than a way of perceiving things outside of the usual five sense gates.

I am a Reiki practitioner, which has helped me tap into a universal flow of energy when I’m reading cards. I’ve had people comment that they can "feel" it when I’m reading for them. I aspire to be helpful above all else. I see no reason to devote my time to the Tarot unless it can assist others in making better choices for their lives, as well as giving them clarity and comfort.

Additionally, I am working towards a master's degree in transpersonal psychology. I am ultimately interested in developing a method of treating people through a unified practice of mind, body, and spirit, combining Tarot, Reiki, and psychological processing to help people understand themselves better and lead more integrated lives.

The caravan came into being in a flash of inspiration around 2011. It took a year to build. I wanted to create a beautiful space for a person to receive their message. It is like a rolling church. Vardo means caravan, in Romany, which is why I chose it for my company name. Sadly, due to Covid, all readings are being performed remotely, via digital media. When I am certain it is safe to meet again in person, we shall reconvene inside that magical beast.
